It’s almost here…Turkey Trot!!! Monday Oct. 28 we will all meet at the stadium and enter on the visitors side. If you are racing, don’t forget to wear your race number on the outside of your clothing so it can be seen. Gates open at 4:15 and the races start at 5:00. If you did not register and you would still like to race, you can go to our late registration table (which you will see as soon as you walk in to the stadium) to sign up! See you at the race!!!!

Please turn in the form to Mrs. Nienhuis or Mrs. VanKoevering. Remember there will also be late registration the day of the race, first come first serve for shirt sizes.
It is October and that means our annual Turkey Trot race is coming to Eagle Stadium!!! Your Turkey Trot form should have gone home with your student last week. The forms are due back to us by Oct. 8. If you do not get the form back to us by the 8th, you can always go to late registration the day of the race and hopefully there will still be t-shirts left! To sign up for the race is $6 and that includes your t-shirt and race bag! We have races for any age and would love to see your whole family come out and join us! Gates open on Monday the 28th at 4:15pm and the races will start at 5:00pm. Hope to see you there!!

Such a BUMMER, that the turkey trot race was canceled last night. Obviously we could not run with thunder and lightning. Thanks to all those who came out to volunteer and got wet, before it was canceled. There are so many details that go into planning the turkey trot, that rescheduling is not an option. So I hope you understand. We wanted to let you know that each school divide up the prizes. We took all the GT participants and did a prize drawing, the winners were as follows: If your child was a prize winner they will be coming home with an information sheet. Turkeys and pumpkins need to be picked up in the school office by Friday Oct. 25 by 3:30.

Turkey Trot is coming on Tuesday, Oct. 23. Runners will be getting their race bags on Monday. Please check the race bag for a new map of the track this year. We had to change things up because of all the new renovations that are going on at the stadium. See you on Tuesday!

Tuesday, October 26 is the Turkey Trot Race! Please sign up and hand in your registration form by Oct. 7 so that you will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Eagle Stadium gates open at 4:15 and the races begin at 5:00. The event is geared for the elementary students, but we welcome and encourage any and all participants! The link below is the entry form.
