4th and 5th grade Field Day

Just a reminder that the 4th and 5th gr. field day is coming up on June 7 with a rain date of June 8.  If your child ordered a field day t-shirt, it will be coming home on Monday June 6!

Please have your child dress for the weather (with sunscreen) and if they take their own water bottle, they are responsible for it.

Eagle 5K

Well, the weather does not look very warm for our race this Saturday but we are not going to let that stop us!! We have trained well and are ready to run!  Parents of our Hudsonville Running Club students can arrive anytime around 8 a.m. at the Hudsonville High School gym to pick up the race packets and get your race number pinned on.  We will meet in the gym at 8:15 for a team picture and then sit as a group to listen to our speaker.  We will all stretch and walk out to the starting line together.  Please stick around after the race for refreshments, food and plenty of prizes in the cafeteria!!  See you at the races!!!!!

Because of our snowdays this week, we are ending PE CARES on Friday Nov. 21. We will give you a full update on Monday to see which class gets the PE CARES t-shirts and the bowling field trip. LOVE INC. in Hudsonville will come to collect all items on Monday so all the food that was donated will be distributed to our Hudsonville families. Thanks so much for your help!

Turkey Trot Sponsors

We are starting to prepare for the annual Turkey Trot Race!  The race is for all of the Hudsonville Elementary students and families.  It will be held on October 23 and information about the race will be coming home soon.  We are again asking for any families that own a business of their own or know of a business that would like to be a sponsor, to please contact Mrs. Nienhuis or Mrs. VanKoevering.  For $150, your business logo will be put on the back of the Turkey Trot t-shirt.  This is a great way to advertise since there are over 1,000 particpants.  Your business name as a sponsor will also be announced over the innercom at the football stadium.  Some sponsors also hand out flyers or coupons in the race packets for all the runners.  If you have any questions you can call us at 797-9797 ex. 22422 or send us an e-mail.  Thanks for your help!
