The new muscle for the month of May is the Gluteus Maximus. So we now have abdominals, biceps, triceps, deltoids, cardiac, pectorals, quadriceps, and hamstrings. See if your children can show you where they are all located.
Our new muscle for the month of February is the tricep muscle. We also talked about the cardiac muscle. So now we have abs, quads, hamstrings, biceps, triceps and cardiac. Ask your child to show you where those muscles are located!
This week in P.E. we started to teach a new muscle to our 1st through 5th grade students. Our muscle this month is the abdominals. These are your stomach muscles and we do sit-ups every P.E. class to make them stronger! You can help your child with their sit-ups by holding their ankles and timing them for 1 minute to see how many they can do. This will help them to get ready for their fitness test!
January’s muscle of the month is the TRICEP muscle. Braden and Drakke from 1st grade Taber’s class are showing where the tricep muscle is located. So we now have abdominals muscles, bicep muscles and now tricep muscles. Keep checking with your child/children to see if they can show you where each muscle is located.
